Welcome
I hail from upstate New York as a double-bass drummer in multiple bands, in constant pursuit of complex rhythms.  As a post production professional in Chicago, I devise efficient workflows to tell stories in ways which are rhythmically sound. After graduating film school in 2011, editing local promotional pieces and working on short form content helped me meet new collaborators and stay committed to improving my craft.

My first professional film was editing the indie horror-comedy, Devil In My Ride - Directed by Gary Schultz. Working on this bold film about a doomed and deadly road trip from Chicago to Las Vegas was an experience that laid the foundation of my career. I learned to work through every creative struggle and gather an arsenal of problem solving skills that were crucial in taking this low-budget project to completion. The film was accepted into high profile horror festivals including Shriekfest, Bram Stoker International Festival, and Fataspoa and is now streaming on several major platforms.

Continuing as a freelance editor and onset data manager, I have worked with companies such as The Onion, Chicago South Asian Film Festival and various charitable organizations. After completing three more independent features, one of which was the crime-comedy, Imperfections - Directed by David Singer, the film was selected by the Chicago International Film Festival in 2016 and was acquired for theatrical and digital distribution by Level 33 Entertainment. Recently, I was an assistant editor on the Netflix series, Sense8 and joined the Motion Picture Editors Guild. I am thrilled to be Chicago based and will continue to develop as an Editor within the city’s film industry.
